Tom Bailey

Few sounds are as immediately evocative of 1980s British pop as the cool, synthesised textures of the Thompson Twins, and on 20 September Tom Bailey brings that unmistakable sound to Chalk. As the group's singer, keyboard player and principal songwriter, Bailey was at the centre of their remarkable transformation from experimental post-punk beginnings into international synth-pop stars, producing hits including Hold Me Now, Doctor! Doctor! and King for a Day.

Bailey's current live show revisits that extraordinary catalogue while presenting it with a new generation of musicians.
