Sun of a Beach Sauna
Brighton contemporary sauna culture embodies community, fun, and connection.

Sun of a Beach Sauna was born from a desire to marry the raw tradition of wood-fired heat with the vibrant, irreverent spirit of Brighton and Hove. We aren't a typical "hushed" spa; we are a space for Social Wellness. The brand is built on four core values: Community, Fun, Seaside Joy, and Connection. It has created an "urban oasis" where people can disconnect from their screens and reconnect over a shared, invigorating experience.

The Space: A Hidden Garden Retreat
Tucked away in the private, leafy garden of Flat Out on Church Road (BN3 2BD), Sun of a Beach Sauna is a "hidden-in-plain-sight" sanctuary where the ritual of a specialty coffee meets the deep, restorative warmth of an authentic wood-fired sauna.

The Design & Visual Identity
The aesthetic is inspired by the unpredictable beauty of the Brighton coastline. The palette uses Marine Blue to evoke the ocean, Sunset Orange to mirror the glow of its traditional stove, and Pebble Grey for a modern, minimalist touch. Inside, the focus is on natural timber and high-quality radiant heat, providing a softer, more atmospheric steam (löyly) than standard electric saunas.

Founder’s Perspective: Why the Sauna Boom?
"Brighton has always embraced the alternative, but we’re seeing a shift toward wellness that feels human and unpretentious. People are looking for experiences that are authentic rather than manufactured. What makes us unique is that juxtaposition—you’re in the heart of Hove, but the moment you feel that deep, dry heat and the scent of natural wood, you’re miles away. We aren’t just a sauna; we’re a community hub where people come to recharge and 'Sweat Happy'." — Jordan Croft, Founder
